Smartphone ‘app’ provides real time information boost

Passengers can keep track of hundreds more buses at the touch of a button following a major boost to real time information on a free smartphone application.

More than 75 per cent of the region’s buses are now providing live updates to transport authority Centro’s, Network West Midlands ‘app’.

Rubbish ‘Bus’ters hit local services

Cleaners are making sure passengers get a rubbish-free ride by blitzing buses as they wait to get back on the road.

As soon as a bus and passengers have disembarked the cleaners sweep into action and the bus heads off again, subject to the service running on time.

Bus stop changes in City Centre

Services 4, 5, 7, 8, 8A, 9, 9A,

From Sunday 10th February 2013

In preparation for the major roadworks taking place on Fairfax Street commencing on Monday 18th February some services will be changing their stopping points in Pool Meadow bus station and Fairfax Street. Stand V on Fairfax Street will not be used while Fairfax Street is 'one way'

Service changes from 9th June 2013

National Express Coventry are making the following changes to services from 9th June 2013

Changes to route 9C

From 28th April 2013

Following the removal of Centro funding for service 9C the 3 journeys a day Monday-Friday on route 9C will be withdrawn.

Service 9 and 9A will continue to serve Green Lane and Finham

Earl Street bus stops

From 22nd May 2013 for 5 weeks

Services 1, 2, 3, 3A, 11, 12

As part of the work for the heatline project, temporary traffic management has been put in place in Earl Street.
Because of this we are unable to serve the bus stops (KA and KB) in Earl Street

Alternative bus stops for these services are at

From Monday 15th April 2013 for 13 weeks

Service 7

Due to the disruption caused by the lane closures on London Road for the works associated with the Heatline Project, service 7 will be diverted via Cheylesmore on journeys to and from Middlemarch Business Park.
