Black Country Area
Includes all parts of the Black Country and as far north as Cannock; south to Halesowen and Stourbridge; and west as far as Wolverhampton and Perton.
You can purchase a Black Country Travelcard if your journeys will be wholly within this area.
The main places included in the Black Country area are:
- Dudley
- Stourbridge
- Halesowen
- West Bromwich
- Pheasey
- Walsall
- Bloxwich
- Wolverhampton
This area borders the Birmingham & Solihull area at: Halesowen / Quinton; Oldbury / Smethwich; West Bromwich / Handsworth and Pheasey / Great Barr
Birmingham & Solihull Area
Includes central Birmingham & Solihull and surrounding areas as far north as Sutton Coldfield and south to Longbridge and Maypole. You will need to purchase a Regional Travelcard if you intend to travel in this area.
The main places included in the Birmingham area are:
- Birmingham City Centre
- Erdington
- Yardley
- Acocks Green
- Birmingham International Airport
- Solihull
- Castle Bromwich
- Chelmsley Wood
- Sutton Coldfield
- Smethwick
- Handsworth
- Great Barr
The eastern boundary of the area overlaps with the Coventry around the A452, Meriden.
Coventry Area
Includes Coventry and surrounding areas as far north as Bedworth and along a southern corridor to Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. You can purchase a Coventry Travelcard if your journeys will be wholly within this area.

- Binley
- Finham
- Earlsdon
- Canley
- Longford
- Bedworth
- Meriden
- Tile Hill
- Hearsall Common
- Leamington Spa
- Kenilworth
Using the Metro
If you intend to use NXWM buses and Midland Metro you will need to buy a Regional Travelcard with Metro Add-On.
