Xplore Dundee is reminding those planning to attend this weekend’s Flower and Food Festival that they have the ‘pollen power’ to get you there.
The city’s main bus operator is once again running the number 53 to and from Camperdown Park all weekend and its drivers will put the ‘petal to the metal’ to get customers to this popular local event.
This is not your ‘garden variety’ bus service – the 53 operates only between the city centre and the entrance to the festival inside Camperdown Park and runs every half an hour between the opening times of 10am to 5.30pm on each of the three days. The service has ‘blossomed’ since its launch a number of years ago and carries hundreds of visitors to the city’s annual celebration of cookery, crafts and prize-winning dahlias.
So don’t take it or ‘leaf’ it – make sure you get on board for this weekend’s entertainment!
