Xplore Dundee has teamed up with Dundee City Council to offer an egg-citing Easter treat for local families – the Holiday Hop, where kids can travel on the bus for just 20p each.
The special single fare will be available from Saturday 1st – Sunday 16th April, and is valid for up to three children (aged 5-15) as long as they are accompanied by an adult who either presents a valid pass, pays a fare, or holds a concession card.
Xplore Dundee Managing Director Elsie Turbyne said:
“We’re delighted to offer this special child fare for the Easter holidays, as it’s really a time of year when the weather is improving and families want to get out and about.
“Our services connect people from the Botanics to Broughty and everything in between. We can take you to the city centre or any of our main leisure and shopping areas. I hope that lots of our customers will take advantage of this special offer to journey around Dundee and benefit from the many attractions right on our doorstep.”
The bus operator is also welcoming the return of its Easter Egg-spress – a special shuttle service running on Easter Sunday (16th April) between Dundee city centre and Camperdown Park for its Easter Fun Day.
Service 54 will operate every 20 mins from Albert Square to Camperdown Park between 11:40 and 16:05.
