Possible disruptions to bus services from Monday, 7 June 2010
No road closures have been notified and therefore there are no diversions in place for the week commencing 7 June 2010.
The following road issues may however result in some disruption or delay to our services:
Service 2: Hydro Electric have sited temporary traffic lights at Scott Street/Glenagnes Road whilst faulty cables are repaired. This may affect the reliability of service 2. The work is expected to last for for one week.
Services 7 and 8: There will be mobile lane closures, between 0700 and 1800, in both directions on Kingsway (A972) between Forfar Road and Arbroath Road for approximately one week and buses may be subject to delay.
Services 11 and 12: Temporary traffic lights in place from Tuesday 8 June on Elmwood Road at Charleston Drive and from Friday 11th June on the length of Elmwood Road for gas meter works may result in delays to services.
Service 8X:The nearside eastbound lane on South Marketgait (Riverside Roundabout) will be closed with prohibition of access onto the roundabout from Dock Street for up to one week for gas main repairs, this may result in some delays.
Services 18, 19 and 21:Due to off-peak traffic controls for street lighting works on Old Glamis Road (Kingsway to Clepington Road) , these services may be subject to delays. The work is expected to last for 4 weeks.
Ongoing work on the Tay Road Bridge Ramps Project will continue to cause possible delays to all services in City Centre due to traffic congestion.
