Save with a Dundee Travelcard

Regular bus users can make great savings when they purchase a Travelcard - find out which one is best for you.

Journey Cards

These flexible tickets enable you to buy a number of journeys in advance. As the passenger boards the bus, the driver will punch a hole in the next box on the ticket and this shows how many journeys you have left.

Student Travelcards

Student Travelcards are available to all students over 18 in full time education (minimum of 12 hours per week).

Adult Travelcards

By far the easiest and cheapest way to get around is an Adult Travelcard. Buy online or from our Travel Centre - 92 Commercial Street, DD1 1DQ

Child (5-15) Travelcards

A great way to get around for 5-15 year olds; the Child Travelcard is available to buy from our Travel Centre - 92 Commercial Street, DD1 1DQ

Travel Shop

By far the most convenient way to buy your Travelcard is online but you also buy them from your local Travel Shop.

ID Information

When purchasing Travelcards from our Travel Shop we require specific identification:

• Adult One weekly travelcard - Utility Bill and one photograph
• Child One weekly travelcard - DOB and one photo
• Adult 4 weekly travelcard - Utility Bill, and two photos
• Child 4 weekly travelcard - DOB and one

Cash Fares - Single Journeys

Our single journey on-bus cash fares are based upon 'fare stages' - your fare is calculated by the number of 'fare stages' that your journey takes you through.

Free Travel for Over 60s

Scotland-Wide Free Bus Travel started on 1st April 2006 and allows anyone aged over 60 and eligible disabled people, to travel free on both local registered services and long distance bus services within Scotland. There are no peak-time restrictions.
