The first of a new fleet of 21 CAF Urbos 3 trams is due to be delivered to our Wednesbury depot very soon.
The journey from the factory in Zaragoza in Spain will take almost six days travelling by road and ferry. Each tram, which is made up of five sections will be transported on two lorries. On arrival at Wednesbury the tram will be coupled together before being tested in the new commissioning shed.Read More
To help mark the 60th anniversary of the last city centre trams to operate in Birmingham we have now repainted our tram no 11 in the old Birmingham Corporation colours of blue and cream.Read More
