Midland Metro has created, in partnership with Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), a Passenger Panel compromising of a number of our regular customers to have a say on how we operate.

Bus & Rail Connections

As part of Network West Midlands, the Midland Metro tram service is integrated with the bus and rail network.

Christmas and New Year Services

We will be running the following levels of service over the Christmas and New Year holidays. 

New £1 coin - From Monday 16th october

From Monday 16th October, please use the new £1 coins on buses and in our travelshops. 

Metro Track Work, Bilston Road from Sunday 11th June

From Sunday 11th June 2017 the Metro stops between Priestfield and Wolverhampton St.Georges will be closed for essential tram track replacement which will be carried out along the A41 Bilston Road in Wolverhampton.

Metro Service Information

Midland Metro, which opened in 1999, runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton serving 23 stops including West Bromwich, Wednesbury and Bilston.

Accessibility & Safety

There is easy access and level boarding and spaces for two wheelchairs on every tram to ensure full access for people with mobility difficulties as well as those with pushchairs, buggies and luggage.

Contactless Payments

Midland Metro trams are smart and sleek and now paying for your journey can be just as smart with the acceptance of credit and debit card payments on tram.
