Peak and Off-Peak Times
Travel cards are available for use during Peak and/or Off-Peak times. Peak-time travel is busier and is generally more expensive. Refer to the table below to see when off-peak times begin and end.
Cash fares are no longer subject to peak and off-peak times.
Off Peak Times
- Monday - Friday Daytime: 09:30 - 15:30
- Monday - Friday Evening: 18:00 - end of normal daytime services
- Weekends & bank holidays - All day
Higher fares apply on Night Buses (eg 558N), services crossing county boundaries and certain special services.
