50 Up for Lea Hall!

Travel West Midlands’ Lea Hall garage is celebrating its 50th birthday in April 2005 - and the Company would like all customers and residents in the area to come and join with us to celebrate this landmark occasion.As part of Lea Hall’s 50th, Travel West Midlands have commissioned special ’t-side’ adverts which are appearing on one of Lea Hall’s buses. Also a special ’birthday party’ event has been planned which will see staff, local residents, ex-employees and customers joining together to celebrate Lea Hall serving the local community for 50 years.Saturday 9th April, between 10am and 2pm, gives local residents and customers the opportunity to visit the garage and take part in various fun activities. The ’fun day’ is taking place at TWM Lea Hall garage, Crossfield Road, Lea Hall. Activities to include: vintage bus rides, trips through the bus wash, stalls of bus memorabilia, Jazz Band, balloons, stickers plus lots more for all the family.Martin Nixon, TWM’s Area Director East Birmingham said: "Lea Hall garage has now been serving the local communities in the area for 50 years, a massive achievement for all our staff. We hope that our planned activities will bring customers to the garage so they can celebrate with us. We look forward to serving all customers for another 50 years. As part of the celebrations we have some specially designed artwork on the side of one of our vehicles, another great way to celebrate Lea Hall’s 50th"
