997 - Later Nights from Brum!

Travel West Midlands’ Premier 997 bus service, which operates from Walsall to Birmingham (via Aldridge), is now operating later into the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate and support the local night time economy and those revellers who want to use TWM’s Premier service!Stuart Henry, Corporate Affairs Manager for TWM said, "Through our new 997 communication channels we have acted on suggestions from customers who wanted the 997 to operate later into the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. There is obviously a need to support the evening economy as Birmingham continues to cement itself as a first class entertainment city. The last services on Fridays and Saturday on the 997 now leave Carrs Lane in Birmingham at 23.30 and we hope that both students from UCE and residents from the Pheasy, Rushall, Aldridge and Walsall areas are able to utilise the new and improved evening timetable.He added, "We want to encourage our customers to continue to give us feedback and comments on the Premier 997 and this recent weekend change reflects our intentions to listen, discuss and take action on all comments which will hopefully bring benefits for passengers."Dave Donaldson, General Manager at Walsall garage can be contacted through the 997@travelwm.co.uk email address.
