Travel West Midlands’ staff based at TWM’s Travelcard & Information Shops have shown that they are firmly on track to sell train tickets by passing a gruelling Rail Examination recently.Judith Green, from Pavilions Central, passed with 92% and Rita Shipley, based in Dudley, passed with 100%. The Rail Examination is set by ATOC (Association of Train Operating Companies) and covers all aspects of rail ticket sales including rules and regulations. The successful candidates had studied for over 12 months and are now well versed in all aspects of National Rail Ticketing.Gail Jones, Travel West Midlands’ Sales Manager, said: "Travel West Midlands Travelcard & Information Shops offer a fully integrated public transport service by selling bus, coach and rail tickets and it’s important for our staff to excel in these areas as more and more people choose to travel by public transport.
