Aidan Gets a Birthday ’Buzz’

Travel West Midlands’ Wolverhampton bus driver, Neil Hartland, gave his son a surprise birthday treat to remember recently when he arranged a tour of the garage for him.For Aidan’s 9th birthday, his dad arranged for him and his friends to be picked up in a brand new double deck bus with a special greeting on the destination blind. The group were then given a guided tour of the garage including the traffic office, engineering pits and a trip through the bus wash, finishing off by presenting Aidan with his very own model bus.Neil said: "Aidan is fanatical about all kinds of transport and shows an active interest in engines. In fact, one of his favourite sayings is - can I look at the engine, dad? - and he was thrilled to get such a close look on his tour of the garage."Aidan said: "It was an excellent surprise and my friends were very impressed when the bus turned up to take us all to my birthday party!"
