Travel West Midlands’ Walsall bus driver, Alan Hughes, raised £750 for the Neonatal Unit at City Hospital, Dudley Road, recently - and it certainly turned out to be a great catch!Alan organised a charity fishing match held at the Woodlands View Fishing Complex with the help of Travel West Midlands who donated £400 towards the cost of setting up the competition.A total of 54 Travel West Midlands’ anglers took part in the charity fishing match and the cheque was handed over to Rosemarie Reeve, Acting Clinical Nurse Manager.Alan said: "The response from the Company was overwhelming - not only with the donation of £400 to set up the competition but also from employees who wanted to take part to raise cash for this very worthwhile cause. We intend to do the same next year for another local hospital."
