Armistice Day - THURSDAY 11th November 2004

Travel West Midlands and Travel Coventry will once again be observing two minutes silence at 11am on Armistice Day, Thursday 11th November 2004.Bus Drivers have been asked, wherever possible, to pull buses to the side of the road so staff and customers can mark the occasion with two minutes silence.Phil Bateman, Corporate Affairs Director, said: ?In line with the practice that we have developed over the last 5 years we are again holding a two minutes silence for the fallen of two World Wars. We know that this is the wish of the bulk of our passengers and we are happy to remember the sacrifices that these men and women endured to make this country what it is today.?
