Birmingham > Halesowen - Bus Corridor Improvements
Travel West Midlands (TWM), the region’s largest bus operator, is pleased to announce various changes and enhancements to bus services in the North Birmingham and Halesowen areas - as from 27th February 2006.The new changes are as follows:- The 19 service will be re-routed at peak times and a new service 110 will be introduced during the off-peak periods. Both services will provide an additional service from The Stag Public House (Mucklow Hill) to Birmingham. This will complement service 140 as well as provide new links for the local community, shoppers and visitors.- Service 19 will compliment service 241 between Halesowen and The Stag at Mucklow Hill- Service 19 is a peak only service operating every 20 minutes- Service 110 is an off-peak and Saturday service operating every 30 minutes. It will continue beyond The Stag to the Market Place, BlackheathStuart Henry, Corporate Affairs Manager for TWM said; "We have been listening carefully to local customer suggestions and comments. Together with our own comprehensive service development program, we have brought in these changes to service 19 and through the additional 110 service. We believe the benefits of alternative and extended services, together with new links, will serve the local area well and further enhance our service offering in the area.
