Broad St Peace March Closure, Sat 01-Mar-03
On Saturday 1st March 2003 a Peace March will be taking place in Birmingham and Broad Street will be closed in both directions, from Paradise Circus to Five Ways, between the hours of 12:30-15:00.Buses will be diverted as follows:Buses travelling towards the City Centre will take the following route: from Five Ways Island, left at Ladywood Middleway to the Island at Spring Hill, right onto Spring Hill, then via Sand Pits Parade and Summer Row, left into Great Charles Street to rejoin the normal route.Buses travelling from the City Centre will take the following route: from Paradise Circus buses will travel via Summer Row and Sand Pits Parade turning left into Spring Hill then via Ladywood Middleway to Fiveways Island to rejoin the normal route.Bath Row will be also closed between these hours, services using Bath Row witll be diverted as follows:Buses travelling from Five Ways will take the following route: Islington Row, Lee Bank Middleway, then left into Bristol Street to the Horse Fair to rejoin the normal route.Buses travelling towards Five Ways will take the following route: from the Horse Fair and Bristol Street right into Lee Bank Middleway to Islington Row to rejoin the normal route.
