Bus Campaign Cleans Up

Travel West Midlands has teamed up with Birmingham City Council to promote its Clean City message as part of the wider ’You are Your City’ campaign.The ’Don’t Litter Your Buses’ campaign is now appearing on poster sites in and around Birmingham City Centre, on coving panels and passenger information notices on Travel West Midlands’ buses.Gail Jones, Sales Manager at Travel West Midlands, said: "We have teamed up with Birmingham City Council to further promote the clean city message and hope that this encourages our bus passengers to be sensible with their litter and dispose of it responsibly. Travel West Midlands carries over a million people every day and we want to do everything we can to ensure that they travel in a clean environment."Councillor Albert Bore, Leader of Birmingham City Council, said: "We are currently driving forward a clean city campaign encouraging people to look after their environment and this joint promotion extends that to buses in the region.
