Bus for Carol Concert

Travel West Midlands provided two buses free of charge recently for Boldmere Infant & Junior School, Sutton - and it certainly was a case of going for a song!The Company was approached by the ’Save the Children Sutton Group’ who had arranged a carol concert and collection in The Pallasades. Boldmere Infant & Junior School agreed to allow the school choir to perform at the event.Polly Dixon, Volunteer Area Representative for Save the Children, said: "Our charitable organisation works in over 70 countries, including the UK, trying to improve the lives of children. We needed to transport children and helpers from the school in Sutton to Birmingham and Travel West Midlands were more than happy to provide two buses for this event."Anyone interested in getting involved with Save the Children should contact Polly on 01543 258512.
