Bus Stop Moves in Birmingham from Sun 15-Sep
Some Travel West Midlands bus stops will move from Sunday 15th September 2002 when the second phase of the Masshouse Circus demolition takes place in Birmingham City Centre.The Priory Queensway between Masshouse Circus and Old Square will be closed in both directions resulting in bus diversions and some new bus stopping points. Services affected are as follows: 2, 4, 5, 6, 15, 16, 16A, 17, 31, 35, 35S, 37A, 41, 45, 45A, 46, 47, 47A, 51, 52, 61, 62, 62A, 63, 63A, 66, 66A, 99, 126, 950, 951, 952 and 953.Phil Bateman, Travel West Midlands’ Corporate Affairs Director, said: "Further developments in Birmingham City Centre mean that bus stops and routes will be affected from Sunday 15th September 2002. A new publicity flyer will be available before the changes take place but passengers are urged to check new stopping points and routes with the Traveline Enquiry Service on 0870 608 2 608."Full details will be available on this website shortly.
