Bus Tribute for Champions

Travel West Midlands gave The Bears a pat on the back, following their recent County Championship success, by covering a brand new bus in a congratulations display."Serving the home of the County Champions - congratulations to Warwickshire CCC" features on both sides and the back of the new bus, which will soon be launched onto the Pershore Road service. It will stay on there for the season and will run close to Edgbaston Cricket Ground - the home of the Warwickshire County Cricket Club.Members of the team popped out to have a look at the message on Monday when the bus stopped off at the cricket ground to show off the celebratory message.Martin Hancock, TWM’s Marketing and Development Director, said: "We wanted to celebrate with Warwickshire, their fantastic achievement as County Cricket Champions, and we thought the best way of doing this would be to champion their new status from the top deck of one of our buses."The bus is one of 12 specially branded Pershore Road vehicles which will be launched onto the route over the coming weeks. Pictured in front of the celebratory bus are cricket champions Neil Carter, Mark Wagh, Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott and Jim Troughton.
