Buses For Himley Bonfire

Travel West Midlands and Dudley Metropolitan Council have joined forces to provide bus services for this year’s Himley Bonfire on Saturday 8th November 2003.Services 249, 250, 251, 252 and 253 will pick up and drop off at various locations around the Black Country including Cradley Heath, Dudley, Halesowen, Coseley and Stourbridge between the hours of 5.00 pm and 11.00 pm. All of the bus services are free having been paid for by Dudley Council and we urge people to hop on board to and from the venue."Sally Piazzalunga, Dudley Leisure & Tourism, said: "The special bonfire bus service is the easiest and quickest way to get to and from Himley Park for our ’Superheroes’ fireworks display. Departs Cradley Heath Interchange: 1730 then every 15 minutes until 1945. Returns from Himley Park Central Gate: 1800 until 1930 then 2100 until 2300Service 250 - from Flood Street Car Park, Dudley via Martin Hill Street, Vicar Street, King Street, Birmingham Street (outside Kwik Save), Fisher Street, Castle Street, The Broadway, Ednam Road, Priory Street, Wolverhampton Street, Himley Road to Himley Park Central Gate. Departs Flood Street Car Park, Dudley: 1730 then every 5 minutes until 2000. Returns from Himley Park Central Gate: 1745 until 2015 then 2100 until 2300. Service 251 - from Halesowen Bus Station via Colley Gate, High Street Lye, Stourbridge Bus Station, Audnam, Wordsley, Kingswinford (last pick up Stallings Lane) to Himley Park (A449 southbound). Departs Halesowen Bus Station (Stand E): 1705 then every 20 minutes until 1945. Departs Stourbridge Bus Station (Stand M): 1725 then every 20 minutes until 2005. Returns from Himley Park (A449 southbound): 1745 until 1945 then 2100 until 2300. Stourbridge Bus Station is first set down point. Service 252 - from Coseley Roseville Square via Castle Street, Vicarage Road, Birmingham New Road, Sedgley Road, Tipton Road, Tipton Street, Dudley Street, Vicar Street Sedgley, Gospel End Street, Cotwall End Road, Sandyfields Road, The Straits, Straits Road, Louise Street, Abbey Road, Zoar Street, Gornal Wood Bus Station, Abbey Road, Bull Street, Himley Road to Himley Park Central Gate. Departs Coseley Roseville Square: 1730 then every 10 minutes until 1950. Departs Sedgley Vicar Street: 1740 then every 10 minutes until 2000. Returns from Himley Park Central Gate: 1800 until 1950 then 2100 until 2300. Service 253 from Stourbridge Bus Station via Audnam, Wordsley, Kingswinford (last pick up Stallings Lane) to Himley Park (A449 southbound). Departs Stourbridge Bus Station (Stand M): 1700 then every 10 minutes until 1950. Returns from Himley Park (A449 southbound): 1720 until 1930 then 2100 until 2300All services are free and pick up from recognised bus stops.
