Changes in North Birmingham

Travel West Midlands has anounced changes to the bus network in North Birmingham from 28th May 2006.There will be better services for Falcon Lodge and Walmey with a new fast 914 daytime service direct to Birmingham and with service 115 extended to serve Birmingham via Lichfield Road.In Streetly new services are introduced with the 993 providing a fast link between Streetly and Birmingham and a new 196 local service linking Sutton Coldfield with Streetly/Kingstanding.Changes in Pheasey will see the new 934 and 934A service will provide a fast link from Pheasey and Pheasey, Deers Leap to Birmingham.ServiceSummary of Changes34This service is withdrawn and replaced by NEW fast services 934 and 934A.Service 34A will continue to run in the evening and on Sundays.104Services 104 and 104A will continue to run early morning and evening journeys however this service will no longer run during the daytime - see service 115.Please see revised timetable.106This service is withdrawn and replaced by NEW fast service 914107The frequency of this service is increased to evey 10 minutes at peak times.This service will no longer servestop Na on Priory Queensway on journeys into Birmingham.113This service is withdrawn and replaced by NEW fast service 993114Daytime service is replaced by NEW fast service 914Evening and Sunday journeys will continue to run.115This service is extended to run between Erdington and Birmingham.196NEW local service between Sutton Coldfield and Streetly.
