Changes to Services - May 2005

From Sunday 29th May 2005 we are making a variety of changes to our bus network in and around Birmingham and the International Airport, details of changes are as follows:SaverBus 26Extended through to Kingshurst, replacing Service 92. Flat Fare of 70p on any journey, any distance. XCity 46 & 46XNew cross-city link, replacing existing Services 44 & 46. Connects Perry Barr, the UCE, Birmingham University and the QE Hospital. Evening and Sunday journeys on Service 52 replaced by new Service 46X. Service 99 Service withdrawn. The route through Small Heath will be replaced by diverting Service 590 and Lanchester Way will still be covered by diverting Service 71. Harborne Hopper 636Frequency improved by the withdrawal of peak-time Service 626. Service 966Peak-time journeys diverted to serve Birmingham Business Park - called Service 966B. This creates a new link to the Business Park from Solihull, the Airport and the NEC. This new link to the Birmingham Business Park replaces peak-time services 993A & 994A.Please note, online timetables from Sunday, 29th May 2005 - please be sure to select dates for weeks from 30.05.2005 - 05.06.2005 onwards.
