Early Summertime Buses in Birmingham
Between 1st June and 17th July 2004 the level of service on a number of Birmingham’s high-frequency bus routes will be slightly reduced. These minor alterations only affect buses during peak hours and shopping times - early morning, evening and Sunday journeys do not change.Alterations to services less frequent than every ten minutes are listed below:8 Inner CircleThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.A new timetable for this service has been issued.15 Birmingham - Lea Hall Station via Hob Moor RoadThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.16 Birmingham - Hamstead, Green Lane via Hockley16A Birmingham - Great Barr, Scott Arms via HockleyThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency on each service is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.On Service 16 the Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks and the Saturday daytime frequency is also slightly reduced from every 7 minutes to every 8 minutes.There is a new timetable for these services, which is valid until 4th September 2004.17 Birmingham - Tile Cross via Hob Moor RoadThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.21 Birmingham - Bartley Green via QE HospitalThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.A new timetable for this service has been issued.26 Birmingham - Bromford Bridge via DuddestonThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is slightly reduced to every 12 minutes.28 Small Heath - Great Barr, Scott Arms via Erdington28A Heartlands Hospital - Perry Barr via ErdingtonFrom 2nd June the combined peaktime frequency on the 28 & 28A is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.29 Birmingham - Northfield via HarborneThe Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 15 minutes.There is a new timetable for this service.34 Birmingham - Pheasey, Deer’s Leap via KingstandingFrom 2nd June the Monday to Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.55 Birmingham - Chelmsley Wood via Alum RockThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 8 minutes to every 10 minutes.The Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.65 Birmingham - Perry Common via Slade RoadFrom 2nd June the Monday to Friday frequency between the peaks is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.66 Ladywood - Erdington via City CentreThe Monday to Friday peaktime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.There is a new timetable for this service, which is valid until 4th September 2004.82 Birmingham - Bearwood via Dudley RoadThe Monday to Saturday daytime frequency is slightly reduced to every 10 minutes.There is a new timetable for this service, which is valid until 4th September 2004.103 Birmingham - Woodgate Valley North via HarborneThe Monday to Friday frequency is reduced from every 8 minutes to every 10 minutes at peaktimes and every 9 minutes between the peaks.The Saturday daytime frequency is reduced from every 9 minutes to every 10 minutes.There is a new timetable for this service.104 Birmingham - Sutton Coldfield902 Birmingham - Hill Hook904 Birmingham - Sutton Coldfield915 Birmingham - Falcon LodgeFrom 2nd June, Service 904 is reduced in frequency to half-hourly.Services 104, 902 and 915 will run at slightly revised times during Monday to Saturday daytimes, although their frequency remains the same.The overall frequency between Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield at these times will be every 7-8 minutes.258 Birmingham - Merry Hill via BlackheathThe Monday to Friday timetable between the peaks and the Saturday timetable are both revised, although the frequency remains the same.There is a new timetable for this service, which is valid until 4th September 2004.590A Birmingham & Coleshill Circular AnticlockwiseOn Mondays to Fridays the 0813 Chelmsley Wood - Birmingham, Lower Bull Street journey will be extended to start from East Meadway/Mackadown Lane at 0759.
