Football Sponsorship’s Dry Run

Travel West Midlands has sponsored new rain jackets for the ’Wordsley Wasps’ - a local Under 10’s football team.The team has been running for 29 years and takes part in local competitions in and around in the Black Country.Phil Bateman, Travel West Midlands’ Corporate Affairs Director, said: "We were approached by one of our bus drivers from Wolverhampton Garage, Mark Edwards, who lives in Wordsley and coaches the boys in his spare time and we were more than happy to make a donation of £300 for new rain jackets for the team."Mark said: "We were delighted when the Company took an interest and hope that the team continues to go from strength to strength."
