Info Centre Great for Bus Customers!

Travel West Midlands and Marketing Birmingham have joined forces to provide vital bus information to bus customers and visitors to the second city.As part of the partnership between the two organisations, Travel West Midlands will now be providing local bus and tram information and a member of staff for the city centre’s eye-catching ’Information Centre’ on Corporation Street, Birmingham.Gail Jones, Sales Manager said; "We are pleased to once again be working with Marketing Birmingham to provide another channel for visitors and bus customers to get the bus information they require to plan their journeys. The newly opened Information Centre in Birmingham city centre is in an ideal location to attract visitors and with a TWM member of staff being stationed there, it gives the opportunity for bus information to be given quickly and promptly."Jenny Young, Visitor Services Manager at Marketing Birmingham said; "The Information Centre attracts around 6,000 visitors each month and provides an information service on all aspects of the city, from what?s on at the theatre, to where to shop, what restaurants to eat in and which hotels to stay at. However, due to the location of the centre a high percentage of enquiries relate to bus travel and we are delighted that TWM will now be on hand to provide expert advice to people travelling in and around the city."Marketing Birmingham is the destination marketing agency for the Birmingham city region. It is a public-private partnership supported financially by Birmingham City Council and some 400 member companies. It raises additional commercial revenue through the provision of a hotel accommodation and conference booking service. For further information see www.visitbirmingham.com/
