A Travel West Midlands bus Inspector found that he was lucky in love when he met his future bride whilst on duty in Birmingham City Centre - and it’s a real family affair!Paul Weedon, age 47, from Yardley Wood, has worked for Travel West Midlands for 24 years, starting as a bus driver before being promoted to Inspector. His Grandfather was also an Inspector for 40 years, his dad was a bus driver and his mom was a conductoress.Paul met his future bride, Patricia Stephens, whilst on duty in Carrs Lane where he was regulating the 96 and 97 bus services and now they’re walking down an aisle of a different kind.The happy couple were married at Birmingham Register Office, Broad Street, after arriving in the Company’s Vintage bus.
