Manor Way Pre-School Group on the Buses

As part of a drive to familiarise infants with using Travel West Midlands bus services, Manor Way Pre-School Group in Halesowen recently took 17 of their 2-5 year old pupils on a trip on their local bus service.The event was organised for the youngsters so they could use the bus for an outing to Haden Hill Park in Halesowen, where they spent time with parents and teachers during the morning.Stuart Henry, Corporate Affairs Manager for TWM said: ?The Company was only too happy to assist both the teachers and the pupils with their trip on the 139 service. During their journey the children were be able to familiarise themselves with the bus and the trip will hopefully encourage them to take more journeys with us in the future.?Carol Bennett, Head Play Leader at Manor Way Pre-School Group said: ?We were planning to take the children on a trip in our local area and we saw that the 139 bus service near to the school would be the ideal way for us to take them. The children enjoyed both their trip to the park and on the 139 bus service.?
