National Veterans Day

Travel West Midlands is delighted to be supporting this year’s National Veterans Day, which is taking place in Birmingham between 27 June and 1 July - the first time the event has taken place outside London.National Veterans Day is both a celebration of the contribution made by all those who have served in the Armed Forces, as well as those in Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who have served in support of operations, and a means of raising public awareness of veterans’ issues.Phil Bateman, Corporate Affairs Director for Travel West Midlands said; "We, like everyone else in Birmingham, are extremely proud that the city has been chosen to host National Veterans Day and the five days of events within the city centre.
