New Bus/Metro Pub Guide to Black Country
Hops on public transport have never been easier thanks to Travel West Midlands, Travel Midland Metro and CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale. This tasty trio has teamed up to produce a new ’Good Pub Guide in The Black Country’ which gives details of CAMRA recommended pubs in the Black Country along key bus routes and along the line of the Midland Metro.Bob Jones, Director of CAMRA, said: "We were pleased to extend our collaboration with Travel West Midlands and Travel Midland Metro to produce this third guide and I am pleased to announce that The White Rose pub in Bilston, where we launched the new leaflet, has built an extra cellar following the success of this publication." Phil Bateman, Corporate Affairs Director at Travel West Midlands, said: "Travel West Midlands buses and the Midland Metro provide a convenient and cost-effective way to visit these pubs allowing you to enjoy a quality drink without having to worry about who’s driving home."15,000 of the new guides have been printed and will be distributed to all TWM Travel Shops and to various outlets in and around the Black Country.
