No Fuss Here Comes Saver Bus!
Travel West Midlands is launching its new ’Saver Bus’ 26 service which will operate between Bromford Bridge and Birmingham City via Duddeston and Alum Rock. The launch will be on Monday, 26th July at 10am on the Bus Mall, immediately behind the Pavilions opposite the 50 bus stop. There will then be cake and orange juice at TWM’s Travelcard and Information Centre in the Pavilions afterwards.Brian Jackson Chief Executive TWM said today: "This ’Saver Bus’ service is an exciting concept for TWM offering a special low price fare to customers. We will operate with a flat fare of 60p per adult over any distance any time of the day. A child fare will be half price at 30p. The ’Saver Bus’ is wrapped in a distinctive yellow band and I believe it will offer a very valued service for the people living along the line of its route."The service operates from early in the morning until late at night with a sister 26A service operating in the evenings and at weekends. We have invited the newly elected Member of Parliament Mr Liam Byrne for Hodge Hill constituency to launch the new service, as the 26 serves this constituency."We hope that the ’Saver Bus’ will promote more interest in this particular local bus route, provide value for money to its riders, encourage local trips and help to engender interest and provide access to the new jobs and leisure attractions in the centre of Birmingham."Right-click here and select ’save as’ to download a pdf of the ’Saver Bus’ route and timetable (3.1MB)
