Operations Support Manager Appointed

As part of a change to Travel West Midland’s central operations function, former NX Graduate Mark Kipling has been appointed to the new role of Operations Support Manager - with immediate effect.In this new role, Mark will manage and oversee TWM’s Central Inspectorate, the Birmingham City Centre Team and TWM’s Revenue Inspectors - together with overall responsibility for AVL Control. Mark will also be undertaking an array of project work and has already begun to look at the issues associated with the full implementation of the Microbus scheduling system. Mark has also taken on overall responsibility for the Company’s award-winning Safer Travel partnership which has grown to be a benchmark within the UK bus industry. For the past eight years, the innovative Safer Travel partnership was managed, directed and co-ordinated by Stuart Henry and Phil Bateman in the NX Bus Division’s Corporate Affairs department who will remain responsible for the public relations element of the initiative.
