Route 101 Diversion

Following the emergency closure of Oxhill Road (between the junctions of Grove Lane and Laurel Road) in Handsworth by Birmingham City Council, Travel West Midlands’ Route 101 is now subject to a temporary diversion for approximately 21 days (If work is completed at an earlier stage, normal service will resume)The diversion is as follows:Route #101 towards Birmingham City Centre:-Oxhill Road > Rookery Road > Soho Road > Nineveh Road > normal line of route.Route #101 towards Handsworth, Oxhill Road:-Nineveh Road > Soho Road > Rookery Road > Oxhill RoadPlease note that Route 101 will not serve Grove Lane in either direction, and approximately 10 stops in both directions will therefore NOT be in use.Travel West Midlands apologises for this change of route. The circumstances are totally out of the Company’s control.
