Safer Travel Website

Travel West Midlands’ unique partnership with West Midlands Police has hit the super highway - and it’s on course for success.The new Operation Safer Travel site has been created to inform and update visitors on the unique partnership scheme which was set up three years ago. As well as giving background details of the project it also includes results of joint gateway checks and information about school liaison initiatives.Stuart Henry, Travel West Midlands’ Operation Safer Travel Co-ordinator, said: "The site has been set up to create a wider awareness of Operation Safer Travel and will highlight new initiatives and achievements. We hope that this will be a useful promotional tool for generating interest in the partnership."The web-site can be accessed through www.travelwm.co.uk or at www.travelwm.co.uk/ost. A new Operation Safer Travel logo has also been created to make the partnership easily identifiable.
