Shuttle Buses for Edgbaston Ground and Pype Hayes Fireworks

Birmingham City Council, in conjunction with Travel West Midlands, is providing free shuttle buses to two major Birmingham bonfire and fireworks displays.On Saturday 1st November a shuttle bus service will operate from Navigation Street (stand HF) in Birmingham City Centre to Edgbaston Cricket Ground between the hours of 5.00 pm and 10.30 pm (last pick up from Edgbaston Cricket Ground).On Wednesday 5th November a free shuttle service will pick up at the 68 bus stop at the Fort Shopping Centre dropping off at the 67 bus stop outside the Baggot Arms Pub on the Chester Road between the hours of 5.00 pm and 11.00 pm (last pick up from the Baggot Arms Pub) for the display at Pype Hayes Park.A spokesman for Birmingham City Council said: "We have laid on two fantastic bonfire and fireworks events at Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Pype Hayes Park and want to ensure that people can get to and from both locations easily."Phil Bateman, Travel West Midlands’ Corporate Affairs Director, said: "We want people to take advantage of the free shuttle service for their bonfire and fireworks celebrations.
