Special Service for Sandwell Show

Travel West Midlands today announced that they will be operating a special number 400 bus service to transport visitors to and from the forthcoming Sandwell Show. The show takes place on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August at the Sandwell Showground, Sandwell Valley.The 400 Service departs West Bromwich Bus Station (Coach Stand) on a 20-minute frequency between the times of 10am and 6.40pm on Sunday 29th August. It will increase to a 10 minute service when operating on Monday 30th August between the same times.For passengers wishing to travel back to West Bromwich from Sandwell Showground, the 400 Service will be operating from the Showground between the times of 10.10am and 6.50pm on both days. Again, there will be a 20 minute service in this direction on Sunday 29th and a 10 minute service on Monday 30th. All passengers wishing to travel should note that there will be a flat fare of 70p for adults and 35p for children. NO TRAVEL CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THIS SERVICE.Stuart Henry TWM’s, Corporate Affairs Manager said: ’This special service will be ideal for members of the public who wish to attend this year’s Sandwell Show.
