Success for Bus Surgery

Bus users in Birmingham had the chance to air their views on the local bus network at a specially arranged "Bus Surgery" recently. The National Federation of Bus Users (NFBU) held the event jointly with Travel West Midlands so that they could hear comments and queries from passengers who use buses in the West Midlands.During the five and a half hour period approximately 200 people visited the two Travel West Midlands buses which were situated on Victoria Square. Various senior managers including Area Director Central, Madi Pilgrim, were there to speak directly to any passengers who had comments to make regarding their bus service.Madi Pilgrim, Area Director Central said, "The event was a definite success and I was pleased that so many passengers came to speak to us directly about a range of different subjects. We are always keen to hear the views of our customers and we were pleased with the outcome of the Bus Surgery. I would also like to thank the NFBU for their input on the day."FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACTPHIL BATEMAN (CORPORATE AFFAIRS DIRECTOR) ON 07768 145445 OR 0121 254 7228
