Summer Bus Excursions from Coventry

Travel West Midlands is all set to introduce bus excursion trips to Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Park in Coventry from Sunday 21st July 2002.The E13 service will run every Sunday to Alton Towers from 21st July 2002 until 1st September 2002, departing Broadgate, Holy Trinity Steps at 8.15 am. All inclusive tickets cost £25 for adults and £23 for Under 12’s and Senior Citizens.The E23 service will run to Drayton Manor Park every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 24th July 2002 until 31st August 2002, departing Broadgate, Holy Trinity Steps at 8.45 am. All inclusive tickets cost £22 for adults and £15 for kids under 14 and Senior Citizens.Richard Kirk, Travel West Midlands’ Area Development Co-ordinator, said: "We ran our first day trip in June and, due to its success, we have introduced some more excursions to get people out and about over the Summer Holidays. Anyone pre-booking tickets at TWM’s Travelcard & Information Centre in Pool Meadow Bus Station can get a £2 discount off Alton Towers all inclusive tickets. Alternatively, passengers can buy tickets on the bus from the driver."
