Travel West Midlands has joined forces with Signature Aromas the manufacturer and distributor of natural oils air freshener systems to bring customers a fresh and pleasant aroma.Phil Bateman Divisional Corporate Affairs Director said: "We have started to place their ’Vaporama’ air freshener units on board our buses here in the West Midlands, and the response has to date been good from customers."We currently have a very topical fragrance on board our vehicles following Ellen MacArthur’s daring sea dash around the World. Whilst TWM buses are not the same shape as the Trimaran that carried her so famously breaking the World record for a Solo Around the World non stop attempt, we nevertheless, as a business, record our bus fleet travelling about 60 times around the world in mileage terms each week as they serve the West Midlands conurbation!"We are now releasing (very discreetly) an ’ocean aroma’ produced by manufacturers and distributors Signature Aromas, on all 12 of our Private Hire Vehicles, and have taken to fitting the ’Vaporama Unit’ onto 50 other buses in our fleet as we continue to monitor our customer reactions."The newest service addition to our network, the new 997 Premier Bus service linking Walsall - Aldridge and Birmingham is also using the fragrance."
