Term Plus Now on Sale

Travel West Midlands’ most popular kids bus pass has gone on sale from 1st August - and it’s sure to rate highly as it is being advertised on television from 19th August 2002! The 30 second slots designed by WHM Advertising based in Lichfield will follow the popular ’Use Your Head - Use The Bus’ campaign.Getting to school is straightforward on Travel West Midlands’ comprehensive network of over 450 bus routes across the region and the Term Plus Travelcard is designed to offer kids a ’grown up’ product which offers them independence both during and out of school hours.The Term Plus Travelcard is on sale at over 300 Travel West Midlands’ Travelcard Agents across the region and is valid right up until 28th December 2002 - that’s a whole term’s bus travel for just £59.75p. It can be used all day, every day, seven days a week, including evenings and holidays on all Travel West Midlands bus services.The bus pass is on offer to anyone aged between 5 and 15. Sixth formers can also buy Term Plus providing they qualify for and obtain a Centro 16-18 Photo Card.Phil Bateman, Travel West Midlands’ Corporate Affairs Director, said: "Over 20,000 kids travel on TWM buses every day to and from school in Birmingham alone and this popular bus pass is ideal as it is also valid during the holidays and out of school hours. It offers excellent value for money and, as it is the first time the product has been advertised on TV, we hope that parents will see the value in the product."
