Titillating Balti Bus Bonanza
Bus users across the West Midlands still have the chance of having their taste buds titilated by making use of the excellent ’Balti by TWM bus’ leaflet which Travel West Midlands (TWM) have released along with Birmingham City Council. The useful and exciting leaflet forms an important element of Birmingham City Council’s East Birmingham Regeneration Team’s campaign to drive business back to the area following July’s tornado. The initiative has been extended until the end of 2005 and will not only see users being able to enjoy a balti, but also the unique shopping opportunities in the Balti Triangle which brings together textiles, exotic fruit and vegetables and jewellery.Phil Bateman MBE, Divisional Corporate Affairs Director for TWM said; "In the run up to Christmas, we are still keen on bus users to make use of this excellent leaflet. The Balti triangle in Birmingham has continued to operate after the recent Summer tornado in the city and provides a great night out for everyone. Our Balti by Bus leaflet not only gives local bus information but also a number of vouchers with which to receive a 15% discount or other offers in the various restaurants. There’s nothing like the smell of a good curry to titillate the taste buds so our advice is, use the bus and enjoy a good old fashioned Birmingham balti!"Tabriz Hussain, ABRA Co-ordinator (Asian Balti Restaurant Association) commented; "The partnership of bus and balti should be irresistible particularly for those who want to enjoy the balti experience with a tipple of their choice. It’s also worth remembering that the Balti Triangle is only 15 minutes from Birmingham City Centre so customers won’t have to wait long to enjoy their favourite dish."Click here to see online Balti Triangle by Bus Guide.
