Tolkien Weekend By Bus

Visit the Shire Country Park at Sarehole Mill this weekend and find out more about the magical place that inspired J.R.R. Tolkien, writer of The Lord of the Rings.This family event, organised by Birmingham City Council, will include dramatisations by ’Shire Productions’, historical re-enactments, the Tolkien archives, crafts stalls and ’have a go archery’.
