Travel West Midlands Awarded ’V’Festival Routes

Travel West Midlands part of the National Express Group, and one of the regions leading transport providers, is delighted to have been awarded the right to operate the shuttle bus service from Stafford and Wolverhampton to the fabulous ’V’ Festival at Weston Park on 17, 18, 19 & 20 August 2007.In previous years Stafford based Arriva operated the service to the concert. Alex Perry Area Director for the Black Country said "This is one of the leading music festivals in the UK and we are delighted at having been invited to act as the official carrier for this event. Our aim is to Make Travel Simpler for fans as they ’flock to the festival’ at Weston Park!"Amongst the entertainers that will be playing at the festival are: Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Pink, Kanye West, Paolo Nutini, Editors, The Proclaimers and Just Jack.Bus services will operate from Stafford and Wolverhampton Rail stations every 15 minutes throughout the festival.
