TWM Girl Power!

A female team from across Travel West Midlands recently took part in the popular ’Race for Life’ event - the UK’s largest women-only fund-raising event.14 women from TWM took part in this year’s three-and-a-half mile walk which was held in searing summer temperatures at Sutton Park on 15th July - and all our girls certainly stood out amongst the crowds in special limited edition PINK, Travel West Midlands t-shirts!Phil Bateman, Corporate Affairs Director for Travel West Midlands said; "Everyone across Travel West Midlands is proud of the girls’ efforts to raise funds for Cancer Research. They all stood out in their specially designed pink TWM t-shirts and we?re pleased to be doing our bit for charity here in the West Midlands."Overall our team is on course to raise over £1,000 which was through sponsorships and donations from colleagues, friends and families. Since Race 4 Life began in 1994, women from across the country have raised over £100m for Cancer Research UK.
