Twenty-five-year old Claire Ryan was celebrating this week as she prepared to jet off to warmer climes after winning a trip to Oz!Travel West Midlands teamed up with 100.7 Heart FM and travel agency, Austravel, throughout April to offer bus passengers the opportunity to win a holiday of a lifetime to Australia. On Tuesday, 1st June, Claire was contacted by Heart and, after answering a qualifying question, was told that she was the lucky winner who will spend 7 nights in the beautiful city Sydney.Claire, who works as a Sales Administrator at Primary Broker Services in Brindleyplace, entered the competition nearly a month ago whilst travelling on the number 63 bus service on her way to work. She plans to take her fianc Neil Leech, aged 27, who she lives with in Rednal, Birmingham.Claire said: ?I can?t believe it! When I entered I was sitting on the bus thinking about just how many people must have sat in the same seat and entered the competition ? I?m so glad I decided to text anyway!?On my way home from work last night I went and bought two guide books on Australia and Sydney and was sat on the bus on the way home reading them in the same seat as when I entered. I looked up and there was the advert for the competition and I wondered if I was on the same bus!She added, ?I was just saying to my fianc at the weekend that one day I?ll visit Australia, I?ve always wanted to go there and now I can?t wait.?Gail Jones, Travel West Midland?s Sales Manager, said: ?We teamed up with 100.7 Heart fm and Austravel to offer our passengers a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to thank them for using Travel West Midlands services. I am delighted that Claire has won this prize especially as she is a frequent bus user and wants to go to Australia so much"Pictured from left to right is Heart fm’s Breakfast Presenter Ed James and Oz-bound Claire Ryan
