TWM Supports Commonwealth Youth Initiative

Travel West Midlands has provided ten free Regional Travelcards to ten young people involved in the Citizen You initiative. This initiative is run by the Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council. The young people were from the Commonwealth countries of Vanuata, St Lucia and Swaziland. Phil Bateman, Corporate Affairs Director said: "This was a voluntary initiative and Travel West Midlands were pleased to play a small role in helping the group travel around the West Midlands County."The group is pictured meeting the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Mahmood Hussain, at his Chambers.
