We’ve got The X Factor

One of the biggest stars to appear on the next edition of the hugely popular TV programme ‘The X Factor’ will be a National Express West Midlands double decker bus.

Researchers for the show contacted us to and asked us to supply a special X Factor bus that could appear on the Birmingham shows for the forthcoming series. As well as using the bus to get contestants out to the LG Arena, The X Factor film crew also used the bus, which included a special ‘T-side’ advert and destination blind, to film it as it visited some of the most popular sights in Birmingham including the MailBox, Selfridges and Birmingham Cathedral.

"This fab footage will now be used on TV to help to promote the Birmingham X Factor auditions both during and in the lead up to the shows," said NX’s Head of Media Joy Williams. "Big thanks to all the amazing team at our Acocks Green depot for helping to get this bus prepared for its big TV appearance." Let’s hope the bus gets through to the next round!
