Offering something for everyone the park has plenty of open grassland, attractive formal flower beds, pathways for stolling along and a large lake (used by Stourbridge Model Boat Club). As well as being a great place for picnics there are extensive recreational facilities, including a childrens play area, basketball and tennis, courts and crown green bowls
The park was presented to Stourbridge Borough Council by Ernest Stevens in 1931 in memory of his wife 'Mary'.
