To allow for work to be carried out on the Coventry Rail Station Masterplan, Warwick Road will be closed on the following dates and times.
00:01 on Saturday 3rd July to 13:00 on Sunday 4th July
00:01 on Saturday 10th July to 23:59 on Sunday 11th July
These are expected to be the final dates for the closure of Warwick Road and services, including services 9 and 9A, will return to their normal routes from Monday 12th July. Please note that this date is weather dependant as th crane is unable to operate during inclement weather and may need to postpone working.
During the closures all Warwick Road services 1, 10, 10A, 11, 12X, 539 and 580 will be diverted and bus stops on Warwick Road (Rail Station Bridge and Top Green) will not be served.
Services 1 and 11 will divert via Manor Road, Stoney Road, Humphrey Burton's Road, Leamington Road and Warwick Road, between the City Centre and Spencer Road.
THE RAIL STATION BUS HUB WILL NOT BE SERVED BY SERVICES 1 AND 11 ON JOURNEYS TOWARDS EARLSDON AND THE UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK. Please go to the service 9/9A bus stop on Manor Road (Near to junction with Park Road) for these services, or catch service 12X and transfer at Earlsdon.
These services will serve the rail station bus hub on journeys towards the City Centre.
Services 10A and 12X will divert via Butts Road, Albany Road and Earlsdon Avenue South between the Rail Station and Kenilworth Road. (Bus stops on Kenilworth Road between Warwick Road and Earlsdon Avenue South will not be served.)
Services 539 and 580 will not serve New Union Street on journeys out of the City Centre and will use a temporary bus stop sited in Manor Road.
All services towards the City Centre will continue to use the Rail Station Bus Interchange.
